How to Download Camera Footage from the Reolink Camera System

 

  1. Open the desktop app and login
  2. Search for the date and time you need. 

 

 

  1. Find the Scissors icon in the bottom toolbar


4. Click and drag the box along the time bar and then adjust the size to the specific time that you need. Try to cut any excess time that is not needed. 

 

 

  1. Click the Download button above the box
    1. A download box will appear. Once the video is finished downloading the app will automatically close

  

  1. Open your Downloads folder on your computer

 

  1. Click the Reolink folder that appears and your video file will be in that folder. 


 

Helpful tips: 

  • Watch the footage to find the specific times that you need to download. Note the time the incident started and ended so when you go to download the footage you can narrow it down as much as possible. 
  • Download snippets rather than a long video if its not needed. 
    1. For example: If there is 10mins minutes between two 2 minute incidents, rather than downloading the entire time (which is a HUGE file), narrow it down and download just the 2 minute snippets that you need. 
  • There is also a speed option you can change to speed up the video so you can view it quicker. (See below)
