Eclipse, Tick Tock, and Great Plains utilize “Remote Desktop Connection” to gain access to the server at Corporate that houses each Program.  Directions for access are below:

  1. Open the program “Remote Desktop Connection”
    1. Many user accounts already have the RDC icon in the task bar.  If your account does, just click the icon to open RDC.
    2. If your account does not have the icon, click on the search bar or icon in the lower left corner of your screen, next to the Windows Start menu icon.  Search for “Remote Desktop Connection”.  When the program (app) appears at the top of the search popup, click on it.  When it opens, right click on the icon that is in the taskbar and select “Pin to Taskbar”.  The icon will remain after the program Is closed.
  2. With RDC open, type in server address 10.0.0.18 and select “Connect”
  3. The program will ask you for your credentials.  The credentials used will be the network credentials.  Unless otherwise noted these credentials are the same as your computer’s credentials.  You will use the entire log in name.  I.E. “skills\yourname”.  If you do not know your network credentials, please contact your supervisor first, then the SCI help desk.
  4. Once you submit your credentials, the remote desktop screen will open.  On your RDC desktop screen, you should be able to see the icon for the program you need.
