- Go to https://skillcreations.greenemployee.com to start the process. Their regular website will not work for this setup.
- On the right side of the screen, select "create an Account".
- On the next screen, enter the staff's skillcreations.com email address and then set the password. PLEASE FOLLOW THE PASSWORD REQUIREMENTS. We suggest that they use their email password and add a character to the end of it, such as Password1!
- At this point, open another tab in your web browser and log into the staff's email. If they don't know their password, please EMAIL the help desk to get the password letter.
- Once into staff's email, look for an email from Greenshades with a link to verify the Greenshades account.
- The link should open a tab that requests the staff's SSN OR staff ID number (usually, but not always the last 5 of the social) and then the person's date of birth (MM/DD/YYYY) OR last name, and click "Continue".
- The next screen will ask how to notify the person with a verification code. FILL IN THE BUBBLE next to the email address and click Continue.
- Go back to the staff email and get the verification code. Make sure the space that can copy at the end of the verification code is not present once it is entered into the verification code text box. The space will count as a character but will error out your code as invalid.
- Enter the staff verification code into the code line on the Greenshades open tab and click "continue". Capital letters will matter in this instance.
- The Greenshades website should then take you back to the welcome/sign in screen. Sign in with the staff email address and the password they just created. The next screen should be within the Greenshades program.
If an error message stating “this email is already associated with an account….”, try the password reset function on the greenemployee home page. You will have to go to the staff email account to click the password reset link in an email from greenshades. Even with the password reset to an established account, Greenshades may still want the SSN/Staff ID and last name/birthdate to verify the account.
Please send questions, errors, etc to the Help Desk. In most instances, these issues can be corrected with out contacting anyone at Corp. Corporate involvement in Greenshades is the last resort after all of these instructions have been exhausted.
